SEATCOREWORKS / PROCESS

How a project works

A typical path from first enquiry to finished foam or a small production run.

From aged part to new foam

The exact route depends on the project, but these five steps are typical.

01

Input data

Photos, original part, dimensions, CAD files or 3D scan data.

02

Technical review

Assessment of geometry, function, material and required accuracy.

03

Development and tooling path

Definition of the route to prototype, mold and production method.

04

Verification

Fit, function and final agreement against project requirements.

05

Delivery

Single parts, prototypes or low-volume production as agreed.

Step 1: scan or inspect the reference part
Step 2: define the tooling path
Step 3: deliver the finished foam part
Important note: Lead time and validation scope are always confirmed case by case.
